"Missing or invalid file:" with "My TV" (Client) (1 Viewer)

Installed all MP stuff (SQL + TV-Engine + MP + Client Plugin) according to the documentations.
When i select "My TV" in MP then i get a black screen with "Missing or invalid file:" on it.

Any idea what i can do to solve this problem?

Does this happen if using Bluetwo.

And are you using the mediaportal svn that matches the TVServer one (same revision).

I had the same error till i realised i was not using the backup and not the SVN. Updated MP to a SVN, then install the TV Client. (Try the latest as possible for both - or atleast the client version that matches your TV server install)

I installed:
1. tvengine3-02-10-2008--05-09h--Rev17368 from yesterday => setup.msi
2. MediaPortal_0.2.3.0_Setup.exe (stable release)
3. SetupPlugin.msi (TV-Client) which was in tvengine3-02-10-2008--05-09h--Rev17368
4. Configured server incl. tuning etc. all ok

I tried it under XP (+all servicepacks and patches) and vista => on both same result

Btw: Must i install MP stable release before SVN snapshot if i do a clean install or do i only need the snapshot?

it realy does not suprise me that you have issues then

reading the first post of the TV-Server build thread helps _a LOT_.
