[Music] missing tag: expose artist in album view (1 Viewer)

I am unable to find a music skin property to expose the artist name when viewing albums.

Am i missing something or is this not available?

This is by design. I will update wiki with explanation (I thought I had done this already...)

Albums do not have an artist. Take a compilation. The tracks will all have different artists but they should all have the same album artist (which is available)

Thanks for the info.

I am incorporating cd art some skin files i am working on.

The cd images are named artist-album.png. To show the images in tracks view i use;
<texture >..\..\..\Thumbs\Music\cdArt\#artist-#album.png</texture>

In the case of Albums view, i am at a loss without this tag. Any thoughts on how this could be handled?

(Oops. Did mean Album Artists in the first Post)

EDIT: Just got it working. Didnt get the case correct i used #albumartist instead of #albumArtist.

Out of interest why do you need to build up the thumb name?
is #selectedthumb not enough?
