Hi
I run Mediaportal TVServer on a headless unit, that I mostly use just to record stuff. I watch the recorded stuff on another PC mostly.
I was wondering if there was a way to make sure that the TVserver service is running ok, hasn't died and the TV card hasn't messed up.
When I dabbled with MEdiaportal about a year ago, I came across a program that could show that the TVServer was working in the system tray, but I can't find that program now and have forgotten teh name.
Does anyone have any other options or suggestions. Is there a web interface to TVServer so you can check all is ok.
Yes, I can and do go in via VNC to connect to the headless box, then run TVServer cofigruation and go to the Manual control tab to see the server is running, but surely there is a nicer way that this.....
