I use my PC for dual purpose (office and HTPC) and have the monitor to turn off the video after 20 min. of inactivity in Vista power config.. This is how I like it for office use.

The only problem i am having is the video will also turn off after the 20 min. if I am watching a video using the built-in player in Mediaportal. If I use an external player (MPC) in Mediaportal, the video stays active and there are no disruptions past 20 min.

Is there a setting in Mediaportal so that the built-in player is reconized by Vista as being active and therefore doesn't activate the turning off of the video to the monitor?
