Mono TV sound (1 Viewer)

I couldn't decide which forum would be appropriate... so feel free to move this. And I'm writing this from other computer, so no default info on my system.
I'm using latest release without svn and without server. I have tried with svn and with the server. It didn't help.
Win XP SP2
Hauppauge 350 TV card.
So the sound is mono.
Video recorded in MP and played in WMP is with mono sound also. Video recorded with other applications plays in stereo.
Other applications (WinTV2000 that comes with the card and PowerCinema) give stereo sound.
I have latest drivers from Hauppauge site.
I haven't found this issue in MP forums.
How to fix?

I thought this card was one of the most common.
How come nobody has this issue?

The same for me, TV audio is MONO and cant find a way to change it.

OK, now there are two of us!

Is there a way to have STEREO and SAP, but i really dont like.
Install the TV server Engine, it have a few more tools like Record to MPEG and Audio from MONO to STEREO and AUDIO STREAMS (if the channel allow them).

The TV Server Engine will allow you to have Stereo and Streams.
SAP (Secondary Audio Programing) is when a channel have 2 Audio streams (Diferent Languges) English, spanish, german, etc...
