More messages in the Plugin Infrastructure (1 Viewer)

Just wanna request some specific messages in the plug-in infrastructure:

System Being suspended - Could be used by blasters to turn-off STBs
System Being resumed - Could be used by blaster to turn-on STBs.
Lost signal from analog card - Used by blaster to try recycling STBs (keeps turning on and off until signal appears).
New scheduled recording added - Used by PowerScheduler like plug-ins to check if the suspend timetable needs to be changed.
Previous scheduled recording deleted - same as above.

Just another 2 cents.

I agree with Julio. From a fellow plugin developers point of view, those things would be useful.

This is where you tell me to do it myself and submit the patch ...

Actually the MCE replacement plugin does this. You could add events (like suspend/resume) and bind macros to them. Do not know if it uses the standard plugin architecture but it works great. Check their code and see how they did it. I use this function to turn on and off my amp on resume/suspend.


EDIT: Sorry, didnt notice which section this thread was in. Of cource, my solution is for clients only.
