Which motherboard would be the best for AMD BE-2350 and ATI 2600 PRO.
motherboard requests:
1 GLAN
1 parallel + 1 serial
1 PATA (for 2HDD)
2 or more SATA
no onboard video
onboard audio with SPDIF coxial out
overclocking possibility ...
no other features required like raid, firewire, sli, ...
and less power consumption

Which memory should I use ? (would like to have 2GB in dual-channel mode).
and maybe also a suggestion of a PSU (with good efficiency >85%).

My HTPC should be able to playback h.264 and also act as a desktop (compiling, mailing, internet, mulit-seat streaming, ...), MP will run on secondary display.

Thanks in advance for your reactions !

Any cheap ass mobo will do i would pick one that was passive cooled and got everything you need.
same go's whit mem, just take the cheap mem, size is more important speed.
For PSU take any whit silent 12cm fan.

If you would like to also be able to play game's i would pick a faster CPU instead of all the problems whit overclocking and would also pick a (faster) passive VGA card
For CPU cooler i would pick the Noctua NH-U9F its the best cooler that fits almost any full size HTPC case and will keep any CPU cool but dose it also very silent.

Remember when your building a HTPC silent is golden and any part you pick should first be selected on noise emissions above anything else;)

I read in a review that amd processor and gpu togher with mb with AMD 690 chipset can work great to reduce power consumption! You can save money and have less noise!

I would use this mobo:

http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=101&l3=496&model=1585&modelmenu=1

It has an onboard gpu and i would use it! In fact it has also a hdmi output.

The mobo is passively cooled and very energy efficient. Put a good cpu on it and it plays hd content without any problems.

I recently build a system for myself with it and it is great.

I would pick a seasonic psu because they are very silent and energy efficient.
