I watched my first live sport last night (rugby union Aust vs NZ). It was on a local TV channel but obviously fed via either sat or web to the local TV station as the game was in Hong Kong - and I'm in Australia.

The picture was sharp and clear when not much was happening but in the fast paced moments the motion blur was bad. I wasn't about to switch back to the plasma's tuner in the middle of a game but I have not experienced this before the HTPC was installed.

Tried watching some sport today but so far only really low quality broadcasts are on and so can't duplicate it yet.

Before I tie myself in more knots should I suspect the signal or MP's settings? What settings are worth trying?

    TIA

seeing I got no answers on this I tried some tests today. Wiht the aerial connected straight to the TV I don't have this blur. So I've enabled "inverse Telecine" within the Nvidia settings and TV via the HTPC seems to be much improved- the motion blur seems to have gone

Being in Australia and on PAL is this a worthwhile setting?
