I was wondering if anyone else has problems using the mouse to select from the main menu 'My Videos', 'My TV', etc... options?

If I'm at that HTPC keyboard and try and use the mouse to click 'My Videos' for example, the list will scroll down, then I move down and the list will scroll up... this all happens way too fast (and I'm very good with the mouse! :) ) ... and I usually resort to using the keyboard to select my option and hitting Enter.

I'm assuming I'm not the only one with this problem, and most people using a remote wouldn't have this problem... but find it such a basic problem would hope someone would fix it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

a friend asked me the same question today.

this is what everybody experiences when they install mp for the first time.

put your mouse in the middle of the list and it will stop scrolling. use mouse scroll wheel to go up/down.

or simply use remote.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Unfortunately my HTPC is a Dell E1505 laptop with a touchpad only and no scrollwheel... :(

Any other thoughts?!

Thanks, yes I do end up using the keyboard... so maybe this should be filed as a bug? It just seems like there's something wrong with the interface, when you're presented with a list of options and when you go to click on them they move. :)
