I found the above in Mantis, but it does not mention the specifics of the recent occurance. Is it just me, but my setup is not hiding the mouse cursor in any section, not just MyVideos.

I would put money on the fact that something external is causing this, mouse software is the immediate culprit, but could be something else program wise.

Logitech software would cause exactly the same effect with my setup.

    Just to be sure:
You have enabled the "Autohide mouse (...)" in Setup -> General

    (sometimes things are that obvious)

Sadly no it is properly selected. I'm surprised because I just assumed it was everyone, and got introduced into a SVN in the last week or two.

If it has only occured in the last couple of weeks, what have you changed\installed, however irrevelant you may think it is, chances are that's your culprit.

And as no one else has posted here with the same problem, down to your setup i'm afraid.

I have been experiencing the same problem, but I've traced it to my use of the MEPO skin, which is not fully supported in the current build. When I switch back to the default skin, my mouse pointer disappears as expected.

I switched G-Force visualisations off, and the mouse cursor now hides. Nice visuals, shame.

Strange coz i have G-force as my viz, and no problem.

    Version 357 platinum.

Might be worthwhile trying to find why some systems it's ok, and others will not work.

I'm running version 3.60, and I've been kicked in the nuts enough by Mediaportal to decide I don't care to follow this up. Thanks for your replies PD.
