I have seen it hide once or twice on initial startup of MP in fullscreen but after that it never hides.
I have only used RC3 and recent svn's so can't comment about when or if this ever worked.

What mouse is it, if i install the logitech software for my MX900, then the mouse pointer will not go, if it has been activated by using it in MP (software thinks its now allowed to control MP), so then stays focused.

I just leave it as a default HID mouse now.

ps keyboard\joystick software can also install HID devices that may play havoc which can cause mouse not dissappear.

I do have a trust presenter mouse with it's software installed. I will do as you suggest and uninstall the trust software and use it as a standard HID.

Thanks for the reply, I will let you know ................

OK. I removed the trust software and the device, just the same.

The only HID devices I have are a logitech optical mouse (no additional drivers installed) and the Hauppauge remote (which seems to add 4 devices in device manager)

The mouse is always hidden when MP starts and stays hidden until a mouse move. IR move does not cause it to come back.
Once its back it stays ?????

I have found that it is being caused by having the ASUS WiFi manager running.

    ASUS WiFi-AP Solo\RtWLan.exe

If this is stopped the mouse hides......go figure ????

I knew it was down to something unique to your setup, the problem is from this end with something like that no one could give you a answer.

    Great you have it resolved.
