Movie and music info (1 Viewer)

One thing I like about this software is that it can display information about movies and albums. Unfortunately, I don't see an easy way to get to it using a remote.

For movies, I have to Right-click on the movie, and click on "IMDB."

For albums, I have to Right-click on the album, and click on "Show Album Info."

It would be nice if there was a way to get there using the remote, or even an option that would bring up the information, along with a "Play" button, instead of just playing the movie or album right away. Since I'm sure not everyone would want it to be this way, that's why I suggest that it be an "option."

Also, I would like there to be a "Play" button when showing album info, just as there is when showing movie info. Currently, you can get a track listing, but you can't play from there. Trying to click on anything returns you to the previous screen.

Have you tried to map "F3" to your remote? That shows at least the movie information.

Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted. I didn't realize F3 would bring up the movie info. And it also brings up the album info.

I'm not sure how to map a key to the remote. It's a Streamzap. If you can tell me how to do that, I'll be all set.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just discovered that pressing "1" on the Streamzap remote will bring up the info I wanted. It works for movies, music, and even pictures.

Does anyone know if this screen can be displayed when you click on that current movie folder.. instead of pressing F3... My wife always gets confused when she clicks on a folder, then it goes inside and sometimes there are 2 files in there.. It would be great if you can click on the movie folder, then the IMDB screen pops up and you hit play..

Is is skin specific ? Any help please.. thanks

My films plugin does that. Its located under 'hot plugins' and recently came with a new version. However you should know that its a little job to set it up the first time. If you decide to try it remember to grab something called 'auto downloader'(or something similar), you will find it in the same forum.

yea i just seen that, but i still think the stock MP IMDB one looks better... Im using the Xface skin..

Do you know if there is something we have to change in the XML files

Ive requested this my self because I dont use my films either.. but I don't think its going to happen with mp1.

We just have to wait for MP2 where I'm certain it will be solved some how =)
