Movie Database issues - My Movies (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I was looking around for information as to how new movies are added to "My Movies" without me re-scanning the entire data base from "IMDB" again and again when we had new movies to the movie folder?

I checked the Wiki, and saw no such reference, shouldn't this be automatic?

it's a manual process to gather IMDB info.

So everytime I add one new movie, My Movies won't display it until I re-scan the database?

Argh is there anyway around this at all, cause it takes hours to this each time

it will display it... it just won't have any imdb info attached to it.

strange cause the last time I added a movie to my folder where I usually store it, I had to re-scan the entire data for even to show up in the Video section of media portal.

Maybe it was there just hard to locate?

just hit "i[nfo]" on it in MP.

you have some other strange issue then, as you don't need to re-scan but to see a file you have put in the folder.

I would be curious to know what the outcome of this issue was as I am having the same issue with 0.2.2.0
