Hi.
While stacking on multifile movies works in Movie Database it does not with multi DVDs movies.
Imagine you have a movie split over 2 DVDs then you are not able to add them into the movie database. If you insert the second DVD by selecting "Add File" in configuration.exe the entry disappears as soon as you select "Save".
This was different with previous releases. However also with previous releases the multi DVD movies could not successfully added because configuration.exe did not recognize that the file you choose was located on a removable drive (DVD drive) and forgot to fill the "cdlabe" field in the "path" table. So MP could never check if the correct DVD was inserted.
However with previous releases you could workaround this by adding the info necessary by "SQL Lite Database Browser". This no longer works because as soon as the complete movie path of both movie parts is identical MP seems to discard one. Seems that MP does not take the "cdlabel" into account when comparing.
MP also seems to order the movie part entries in alphabetical order which would also not work in this scenario. So on identical movie part names it should use the order in which the entries were added into the database.
MP Version is last SVN for 0.2.3 before 1.0.

grubi.
