A good feature would be the ability of MP to look in it's existing database to check if a movie has already been added and use the existing information. At the moment it seems that if you change the path to a movie MP does not update it's existing data but makes you download the information again, a time consuming task if there are a lot of files in that folder. I realise that the database can be updated from the configuration utility, but a little 'intelligence' should allow MP the realise that a movie of that name(filename) has already been added and at least give the option to use that data.

Yes i agree having had some major movie updates, it drives you nuts
updating for every minor change in files a choice to search/select from local drive would be good, especially for supplying your own info if imdb
has nothing.
