Movie Importer Not Seeing Iron Man 2 (1 Viewer)

[In2Photos]

I can not get Moving Pictures to see Iron Man 2, which is the name that I have for the folder, including the year. I have no idea why this is happening. I have tried Unignoring all files, but it wasn't in there. I don't have the Always Group Files in Same Folder checked. Any ideas?

Your log file unfortunatly is also useless, because you did not recreate the steps that caused the problem. So it's down to a guessing game as to the cause. The best guess I have is that your movie somehow got added as multi-part section to another movie.

Try to move the file in question out of the folder that is monitored with MovingPictures configuration running (at the import tab). The movie will then be removed from the database (even if it was added as multi-part). Then wait a few seconds and move the file back to the monitored folder. You will then see it being detected, it will turn green icon when imdb match has been found and eventually a checkmark will appear. At that time you can verify that it matched it up with the right movie, because the drop down box to the right will show the movie that was used.

Then you can switch to the movie details tab to scroll down to the movie entry and verify all the details.

If you then still have problems, attach *those* logs from the above steps to a post, so that it will actually contain the information required to debug your problem.

OK tried what you mentioned. You'll see at the end that when the movie finally transferred back to the watch folder I had a fatal error. Not sure why that happened, never had anything like that.

Your last log file with the exception at the end is definitely strange. It almost looks like some sort of internal .NET runtime error. But this exception is occurring after you have shut down the plugin. I'd like to take a look at your mediaportal.log file as well so if you could post a new movingpictures.log along with a matching mediaportal.log file that would be perfect. However I don't think it has anything to do with your movie not importing. So let's set it aside for a moment.

As for your video not being imported, there are a few things that could be going on:

3. This looks like it could be the culprit. After digging around it appears for some reason the rip appears to have not worked properly.

Well I was chatting about the exception in IRC and SilentException suggested this MAY be caused by running an older version of the BackupSettings plugin. Maybe see if the exception goes away when upgrading to the latest version? Glad to hear you got the import issue figured out.
