I was assuming the rating/score shown in Moving Pictures would be the imdb rating as shown on their website, but they don't always match. After a bit of research I found that sometimes the themoviedb score is imported. Example: 2 Fast 2 Furious: 5.2 on imdb, yet shown as 6.8 in moving pictures, which is the themoviedb score (which seems too generous, by the way...). 'Refresh movie info from imdb' updates the score to the imdb value. I have now set the movie sources to 'manually manage', so hopefully new movies will always use the imdb value. Is there a way to update the whole database with the imdb values, rather than manually for each movie (which wouldn't be worth the effort)?

How do I make sure I always see the imdb score?

Using MediaPortal 1.1.2 and Moving Pictures 1.0.8 (with StreamedMP 1.4.9)

    Thanks.

Nobody any idea how to manage which rating you see in moving pictures?

I had the same problem. Noticed it when I was doing some custom filters for score. I had some poor movies up alongside 9.0+ rated ones!! Same thing themoviedb.org, it only had a hand full of votes and clearly from fanboys lol.

I did the same as you, in the config set to manually manage sources, disabled all movie details scrapers except the IMDB script (left the ones for posters etc).

Whilst changing the US certifications to UK ones, I've read that you can't just update one field of the records (ie your score field). You will have to do the whole lot again which effectiively deletes the movies and readds it as new. I did this by going to the movie manager, selecting all the movies (click the top record then whilst holding down the shift key, hold down the down arrow to scroll through them all, selecting as it goes) and then as you have done already, hit the drop down arrow next to the refresh button and select the IMDB scraper. Any it struggled with, I select manually and then click the drop down next to the advanced tools button and send it back to the importer.

My plan is to use IMDB exclusively and if for some reason I cant get a movie to import, just re-enable the other scrapers as and when I need to.
