Movies in video database - no star ratings (1 Viewer)

I created my movies database using the internal mediaportal option (using IMDB to download movie info).

However, I do not get any star ratings for the movies when they are displayed in mediaportal. WHy doesn't it download the star ratings (user ratings) from IMDB?

Is the MyFilms plugin much better or ? I think I tried using it but seemed a bit complicated vs. mediaportal way.

Anyone tell me where to find the database descriptions of movies on the hard drive? I'd like to edit my own details into it on a v slow machine rather than install MP and use the internal DB look-Up ultility
