Moving Pictures grinds PC to a halt (1 Viewer)

Hi I'm running MP 1.0.2 and Moving Pictures on a AMD 4200+ X2 with a Gig of ram and a nvidia Geforce4 mx 4000 XP sp3. I'm also not using the TV feature of MP. I know I don't have cutting edge hardware... I'm only indexing 12 or so movies all on a local drive. Mp launches in a timely manner, but once I get into moving pictures (or MP-TVSeries, I've tried both plugins individually same results.) everything goes down hill from there. My PC becomes completely unresponsive, it takes about a minute or so to launch a movie. Memory and CPU resources do not appear to be maxed out. I have also turned as many options off as possible. Is my hardware not up to the task of indexing my 12 movies ? I mean it's only 12 I can find them easily enough without the plugin, I just like the wow effect. I've searched the forum and I see people complaining about the time it takes to with hundreds of movies all on different drives, but nothing this pathetic, which leads me to believe its my dated hardware. Any ideas ?

Anything with your Internet connection not up to speed?

Please start by collecting some useful debug logs and post them here so i can take a look. Just guessing for but I cannot believe it's the hardware, if so maybe the gfx card is the cullprit?
