I have a rather large collection of movies.
I have set my system to enter sleep after 10 minutes of inactivity.
This was working very well when the collection was smaller, but now it does not enter sleep any more when Moving Pictures is enabled. My movies are on serveral shares on two computers. I think that the automatic watch for new movies takes to long time, ie the system will never go to sleep.

Is there a way to turn the automatic watch off?
In TV-series there is such an option.

When Moving Pictures is disabled the system enters sleep as expected.

    Hi ericture,

Could this problem be similar to mine that I reported in this thread: Moving Pictures forcing resume from standby - MediaPortal Forum ?

I don't have a very huge collection but it is stored on a central disc on another computer...

    /Peter

Since I happen to have the same movies also local I deleted all references to the networked disc and used only the local but with the same result... Apparantly this has nothing to do with local vs networked disc which I had hoped :(

    Hello!

I do not know if my problem is due to a huge collection of movies or that it is located on a networkbased disk.
My collection grow very much at one time and then I divided the collection on more than one computer as there were not enough space on the local computer.

But it is since this dividing and growing of the collection that my problem have started.

    Hi Erik,

I increased the standby time for my HTPC from 5 mins to 15 mins and all of a sudden it seems to work OK, even with Moving Pictures enabled. Would you like to try and increase your standby time as well?

    /Peter

    Hello!

No it did not solve my problem to set the timer to 15 minutes.
If I look in the movingpictures log I can se a lot of printout where it says something like:

01-Aug-2009 22:24:31 Error [ DBMovieInfo]: Bad URL format, failed loading image:
01-Aug-2009 22:24:31 Error [ DBMovieInfo]: Failed retrieving cover artwork for XXX[72] from .
01-Aug-2009 22:24:50 Error [ DBMovieInfo]: Bad URL format, failed loading image:
01-Aug-2009 22:24:50 Error [ DBMovieInfo]: Failed retrieving cover artwork for XXX [72] from .
    01-Aug-2009 22:24:51 Error [ WebGrabber]: Connection failed: URL=http://www.mymovies.it/poster/0/?id=, Status=InternalServerError,

This searching for images are performed every time the plugin is started.

It is also trying to find match for non aproved movies too.

    /Erik
