Hi

All my movies in on a NAS harddrive. The external drive is shut down at night. My mediacenter computer restarts every morning. Then when I start the ext. drive and go in i moving pictures, many of my movies are not there. This morning there were 12 movies and that was over 100 yesterday.

Then I have to go into the configuration again, detect all the movies. Then then perhaps some of the movies are there twice.

Does anyone know what I can do? Is the My Films-plugin better for handling this problem?

Regards Simon

    Hi!

The only chance, is to set each movie path to "removable" (In MP Config-plugin-movingpictures).
I've the same problem with network drives (they go into standby after some time).

    Hi

I also thought about that and yes, perhaps that's the only solution. I am testing it right now.

Do you also have an issue if you play a movie, go back (without pressing Stop), then you cannot play another movie because the first one is still playing? It's like moving picture or MP cannot handle to stop and old activity (playing of a movie) if I want want to play a new one)

I have the same issue if I watch TV, and I don't stop it, but just goes back, into moving picture, and want to play a movie. I cannot do that, because the TV is running.

The issues with both removable drives and playback will be solved in the next version of Moving Pictures.
