My setup is AMD64 3700+, 4GB RAM, 1000GB HDD, FloppyDTV, GeForce 6150, WinXP MCE.

I have had MP 0.2 RC4 installed since it came out. I have had more and more frequent problems with "no signal" so I jumped on the opportunity to install MP 0.2. I uninstalled RC4 and installet 0.2. No problems so far. I checked through my MP settings and everything seemed OK. When I started MP I discovered that no channel valid settings existed so I entered the setup wizard to do a new channel scan. As soon as I hade chosen region and pressed next MP crashed. I have tried reinstalling MP, reinstalling BDA driver, checking to verify that MP has found the FloppyDTV and everything seems OK. Even so MP crashes every time I try to do a channel scan. Why is that? Can anyone help me.

    Hi,
Try to use the MP setup (not the wizard) to scan for channels.

    Regards

Quite an obvious suggestion but I still hadn't thought of it. This way I managed to do a channel scan but I only found a few of the unscrambled channels and not even all of those. I don't understand this. I can still see all channels through my other TV software but I want to use a full frontend like MP.
