MP 0.2 RC2 and nvtv (1 Viewer)

I have gone from 0.2 RC1 to 0.2 RC2 and cant get my NVTV card to work. When I tries to search for files. I get a message like " this card doesnt support auto tune" or something like that.
It worked fine with RC1. I have loaded the channellist from the old 0.2RC1 but I cant get pictures.

Its a hardwarecard.

Xp SP2, XFX NVTV singel tuner, Sapphire radedon 9250 128Mb, Nvidia purevideo audio/ video codec. C-media onboard audio, Amd semperon 2200+,2x512Mb ram.

same problem with the XFX dual TV tuner...

this problem occurs since the first CVS when MP is come from NET 1.1 to NET 2.0

I have post this problem on the french forum since the beginning but no solution has been found a this time, I have think that the card was not supported by the new system but when you read the file capturecarddefinition.xml the XFX dual tuner and single tuner are listed...

I hope that I solution will be found, I return under the RC1

Have similar problem with Hauppage Card under RC 2.

I also think the transition from Net 1.1 to Net 2.0 may be an issue.

Then there is no way out but installing back to RC2? To bad it seemd very nice with RC2.

The new TV Engine is perhaps the problem too... now each card must bee declared on the configuration file.

it is possible that XFX have different "model/revision" of it's NVTV and that some model has not been added to the configuration's file of MP ???

I hope that I solution will be found , I don't wish to use Windows Media Center 2005 :x

I have a question about this card. Can i record directly in mpg2 and choose the quality like with the mediaforceware program? I only see those optiones for hauppage cards in mediaportal.

I have a similar problem, also with an NVTV, single tuner.
I have managed to work out the xmltv stuff :shock: , all five standard channels are showing, and the guide works from the front end. However, I cannot get the autotune to work, it scans for the channels, gets to 10 then jumps to the end on 11. I am getting off-channel interference in my tv, and everything in the logs seems to be connecting up.
Any ideas?
