MP 1.0.0 Crashed won't restart *logs included* (1 Viewer)

CPU Type: AMD
HDD: Maxtor
Memory: 1.5 gig
Motherboard: ECS
Video Card: GeForce 8600GT
Video Card Driver: NVidia

I recently had MediaPortal lock up on me. I had to kill the process. When I tried to restart it, it just crashes. Looking at the logs, the problem is with the Mediaportal.exe.config file. Its empty. Also to note, the configuration program does start. I have searched the forums enough to see that a few people have had this problem but also I don't believe a bug report has been created for this problem. Any suggestions on how I can get this file back?

Attempted Solutions that didn't work:
1. I tried reinstalling but this didn't recreate the file.
2. I tried removing the Cache files.
3. I tried removing the config xml's and reconfiguring.

I recently had MediaPortal lock up on me.......

Had the same issue this end a couple of times linked to lock ups, I retrived my file from a backup..try this file - should work

Thanks man. Will give that a shot now and see if it resolves my issue.

Now if only MP would recreate that file if it was corrupted in the future.
