MP 1.00 Won't Boot? (1 Viewer)

HI All,

Just trying a fresh installation w/out TV server. Newly built PC, running XP 32bit w/SP3. All fixes etc are there. Installed MP fine, but hangs when stating 'Initialising DirectX'.

I rebooted and re-installed, re-booted again, etc but nothing working. It's on the full flash screen at startup. Any ideas? BTW, I'm only running 512mb RAM until I get to the shop to grab some more, but this shouldn't matter?''

Any help appreciated.
