Hi again Denis I'll add the details to the first post in the Colossus thread with a few additional details. :) Unfortunately it isn't possible to bulk-change the audio source at present unless you are able to directly manipulate the TV Server database. I think WileECoyote contacted the SchedulesDirect folks and requested the ability to set the audio source a couple of months ago. I've been pottering away at some changes that will add/improve support for a wide range of capture cards. Part of that would be to allow you to add channels and set the video and audio source without the need for Schedules Direct to do it. Those changes aren't finished yet though. Yes, that is what I meant. For a start, you don't have to use MP. You can if you want to (if you do, it would be easiest to use MP in windowed mode - press alt+enter to jump between full screen and windowed modes) but you could just use the "preview" button in the TV Channels section. The second thing to note is that the timeout is entirely due to the fact that the wrong inputs are configured. The length of the delay is almost entirely determined by the PMT timeout parameter on the "scan" tab of the "general" section in TV Server configuration. If you drop that down to around 5 seconds then I think that would have reduced your testing time significantly. To your question: you can't tell from the logs any faster than from manually attempting to view the channels. The reason for the delay is that TV Server is waiting for the Colossus to provide audio and video. TV Server gives up waiting after the time specified by the PMT timeout. You can see this in the tv.log and TsWriter log here: tv.log fail = [COLLAPSE]2011-08-16 21:08:24.351773 [(7)]: HDPVR: SetupCrossBar:YRYBYInput1 / SPDIFInput2 2011-08-16 21:08:24.365773 [(7)]: HDPVR: Tuned to channel 1 CABSYS 2011-08-16 21:08:24.367773 [(7)]: subch:0 OnAfterTune 2011-08-16 21:08:24.371774 [(7)]: subch:0 OnGraphStart 2011-08-16 21:08:24.380774 [(7)]: HDPVR: RunGraph 2011-08-16 21:08:24.410776 [(7)]: HDPVR: Graph running 2011-08-16 21:08:24.412776 [(7)]: subch:0 OnGraphStarted 2011-08-16 21:08:24.414776 [(7)]: subch:0 SetupPmtGrabber:pid 0 sid:1 2011-08-16 21:08:24.416776 [(7)]: subch:0 set pmt grabber pmt:0 sid:1 2011-08-16 21:08:24.428777 [(7)]: TimeShifter.OnAfterTune: resetting audio/video time 2011-08-16 21:08:34.431349 [(7)]: tvcard:FreeSubChannel: subchannels count 1 subch#0 keep graph=False[/COLLAPSE] tv.log success = [COLLAPSE]2011-08-16 21:50:44.188848 [(22)]: HDPVR: Tuned to channel 9 VOX 2011-08-16 21:50:44.190849 [(22)]: subch:0 OnAfterTune 2011-08-16 21:50:44.191849 [(22)]: subch:0 OnGraphStart 2011-08-16 21:50:44.193849 [(22)]: HDPVR: RunGraph 2011-08-16 21:50:44.213850 [(22)]: HDPVR: Graph running 2011-08-16 21:50:44.215850 [(22)]: subch:0 OnGraphStarted 2011-08-16 21:50:44.216850 [(22)]: subch:0 SetupPmtGrabber:pid 0 sid:1 2011-08-16 21:50:44.218850 [(22)]: subch:0 set pmt grabber pmt:0 sid:1 2011-08-16 21:50:44.233851 [(22)]: TimeShifter.OnAfterTune: resetting audio/video time 2011-08-16 21:50:44.591871 [(5)]: HDPVR: OnPMTReceived() subch:0 pid 0x100 2011-08-16 21:50:44.595872 [(22)]: HDPVR: PMT sid=0x1 pid=0x100 version=0x0 2011-08-16 21:50:44.600872 [(22)]: Decode pmt 2011-08-16 21:50:44.605872 [(22)]: subch:0 SetMpegPidMapping 2011-08-16 21:50:44.609872 [(22)]: subch:0 pid:1001 pcr 2011-08-16 21:50:44.614873 [(22)]: subch:0 pid:100 pmt 2011-08-16 21:50:44.619873 [(22)]: subch:0 pid:1011 video type:H.264 2011-08-16 21:50:44.623873 [(22)]: subch:0 map pid:1011 video type:H.264 2011-08-16 21:50:44.635874 [(22)]: subch:0 pid:1100 audio lang: type:AC3 2011-08-16 21:50:44.640874 [(22)]: subch:0 map pid:1100 audio lang: type:AC3[/COLLAPSE] TsWriter log fail = [COLLAPSE]16-08-2011 21:08:24.409 CMpTsFilter::Run() 16-08-2011 21:08:24.419 pmtgrabber: set callback:460038 16-08-2011 21:08:24.426 pmtgrabber: search pmt from PAT for sid:1 16-08-2011 21:08:34.439 del m_pVideoAnalyzer[/COLLAPSE] TsWriter log success = [COLLAPSE]16-08-2011 21:47:28.617 CMpTsFilter::Run() 16-08-2011 21:47:28.637 pmtgrabber: set callback:610038 16-08-2011 21:47:28.646 pmtgrabber: search pmt from PAT for sid:1 16-08-2011 21:47:35.327 Found PMT Pid 100 for ServiceId - 1 16-08-2011 21:47:35.336 pmtgrabber: grab pmt:100 sid:1 16-08-2011 21:47:35.345 pmtgrabber: got pmt 100 sid:1 16-08-2011 21:47:35.353 pmtgrabber: PMT pids changed from: 16-08-2011 21:47:35.361 pcr pid: 0 16-08-2011 21:47:35.370 pmt pid: 0 16-08-2011 21:47:35.378 pmtgrabber: PMT pids changed to: 16-08-2011 21:47:35.387 pcr pid: 1001 16-08-2011 21:47:35.395 pmt pid: 100 16-08-2011 21:47:35.403 video pid: 1011 type: H264 16-08-2011 21:47:35.411 audio pid: 1100 language: UNK type: AAC 16-08-2011 21:47:35.420 pmtgrabber: got new pmt version:1 ffffffff, service_id:1 16-08-2011 21:47:35.428 pmtgrabber: do callback pid 100 16-08-2011 21:47:35.468 analyzer: set video pid:1011 16-08-2011 21:47:35.477 analyzer: reset 16-08-2011 21:47:35.486 analyzer: set audio pid:1100[/COLLAPSE] Now that you know which inputs are which I'd hope you wouldn't need to worry about that though. mm
