Hello I'm posting this because I have no idea what else to try, and i really don't want to install vista again. I was using MP regulary, with some hardware freezes when playing 1080 MKV's. Turn out to be a hardware problem, onboard video (Gforce 8300), and I solved installing a PCI-E video (ASUS Gforce 7300 GT), now I can play perfectly with bsplayer, no more hangups, but after the last hangup, MP does not start any more. I uninstalled and reinstalled same version again (1.0.2) I uninstalled again, delete all the mp files (../allusers/team-mediaportal & ../program files/team mediaportal ) and try to instal MP 1.1.0 Beta1 but same effect. If i click MP icon, nothing happens. If i click MP configuration, it ask me for normal or advanced mode, and looks like it will start then exits. I know it's not a MP problem, but something related with that hangup that screw up "something" (who knows what). What can i do/try?? could it be a database problem of some sort?. any idea of how to solve this? my system is: Vista Ultimate SP1 x86 4 G Ram DDR2, ASUS M3N78-EM mobo, video ASUS Gf 7300 GT, 1 x WD 500 BLACK & a 22" 1680 monitor. thank you and sorry to bother you guys with this. indkt. EDIT: I try to gather the logs to post here, but when i try tu run MP in logging mode, start gathering the logs and it hangup again, sorry :(
