I did manage to get it working using a batch file with this from Depicus plus this Hibernate Trigger to run the .bat file on resume.
But forgot to back it up when I did a reinstall a few weeks ago...so I don't have an example right now

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
