I booted up my PC and watched an AVI without incident this morning. Then when I got back in just now, I started LiveTV and went to the TV page to check something and MP crashed.

Any idea what I need to do to fix that?

start with disabling the windows in-built firewall.

Simone

I always disable that. I use another firewall, Kerio Personal Firewall but as far as I can tell I've made the required rules for MP. Is there any particular port (or application other than MP) that needs to be allowed in order to prevent that error?

As DieBagger says though, should MP crash because of that, considering that it works fine most of the time and I certainly didn't change my firewall rules before the crash happened?
