Hi,

i've updated my system. Yesterday i changed the motherboard an replaced teh dvd-drive with a blueray/hd-dvd drive.
After first installing i tested the HD-Channels (arte hd, astra hd, anixe hd) and video/audio works fine.
I couldn't play blue ray with the installed power dvd, so i deinstalled it and installed the bypacked Version.
Since then i can play the blue rays with power dvd, but every time i switch to a hd-channel, MP Crashes.
I deinstalled and reinstalled Power DVD again without any changes.

The First Video Frame is seen, and audio is played back (repeating the ~first second) until i cinfirm teh MP-Crash Screen. Maybe someone can help?

Thanks ,

Klaus

Thanks for the Tip, but Subtitles were not enabled.
I tried the preview from tv-server - it worked, but only on my second display (via vga). Seems to be an issue with the display driver.

you are ATI3200 (780g) like me? I had a lot of instability with HD channels h/w accell on cyberlink codecs.

ATI catalyst 8.12 fixed it for me

Always a good tip and I agree that 8.12 fix alot of dxva issues in my ATI 3870. Make sure you do a proper driver upgrade...

    • Use ATI Uninstall Utility
    • Reboot to Safe Mode
    • Use Driver Cleaner/Driver Sweeper to remove traces of old drivers
    • Reboot to normal mode and install new drivers

:DThanks for the tip. i did a clean ati driver installation and only a few hours later all worked fine.
Sometimes HD-Channels were not displayed korrekt (a green picture, sound O.K.), after switching to a sd-channel and switching back its fine - but thats not so important....
