Synopsis::

MP works fine most of the time but there will be times when it will suddenly slow down and crash or it will shutdown improperly and when i restart it it cannot start 'my tv'. it always says 'unable to create graph' or something along those lines. is this supposed to happen with MP? as in after it suffers a crash windows must be restarted before it can read the card again? i have to restart my whole pc everytime it happens and it happens way too often. here is my error log:

    Hi!

    To see exactly what it was doing, please post the mediaportal.log also.

    Thanks

    (sorry, up to now no better answer, except the classical: Try MPA/MPV Decoders).

    well ive tried using the MPV decoder and it has a horizontal flicker in the middle of the screen whenever the picture moves too fast so ive been trying different video decoders. right now ive found the 'HT MPEG Video Decoder' to work best in terms of not slowing down MP too much and no flickering when the tv is on. as far as the audio decoder goes i have to use the fddshow one cause the sound from my tuner card comes in very low and the decoder can be programed to increase the audio amplification of the source. heres my mediaportal.log: http://pastebin.team-mediaportal.com/10587

    actually it has not crashed since yesterday and the log contains nothing from yesterday so i suppose the log post is useless since it only contains things from sept. 13th. ignore the log post i guess lol. but i have noticed that different video decoders have very differnet impacts on MP's performance. should this occur? for example when i was using the 'roxio MPEG2 decoder' it literally took me over 2 minutes to scroll through my guide either horizontally and vertically. this is of course when the tv is on. i have found that the MPV decoder creates the least amount of lag in MP. still have a few decoders left to try. let me know if u have any recommendations.
