When entering in My videos, for example, mp doesn't remember the last used view for the folder. This also happens with pictures and music. Also, if i select for example, sort my photos by date, when closing mp and returning again, it doesn't show the sort order that i've selected previously.

regards,

Try and delete the foldersettings DB file only.

they are not all corrupt I think.

Are the files located on local drive or on a server on the LAN ?

When hibernating og using standby while db3 files are centralized on a remote server u often end up with corrupt files.
This happens for me all the time.

I did a fix for this that is in SVn now.
But I dont know if this will fix it for u.

let's see... i'll try deleting foldersettings db, but i never use hibernate or suspend. if db is corrupted, why there is not an automated backup/restore system in mp to prevent this? i've downloaded sqlite browser and i can open all databaseswithout problems, so where is the corruption?

well if u check your logs u can see that this SQL statement is failing

delete from tblSetting where idPath=1 and tagName ='Pictures'

Try this in sql lite browser.

it appears that some bug in latest SVNs have broken something... the SQL statement doesn't gives me error if i try it from sqlite browser... so i think that the problem is in MP...
