MP flickering when creating photo thumbnails in My pictures (1 Viewer)

I was browsing a photo folder by first time and after a while MP starts flickering (all screen). The folder contains around 300+ pictures... When i entered into the folder, all thumbnails are blank, then, mp starts creating the thumbnails, and after few minutes the bug happens. I'm using SVN build 15463

Another question, isn't it possible to show the default icon for picture until the thumbnail is created instead a empty square??

Never seen this one, but sounds like the issue we have with IMDB download, do you see a window in window when this happens?

There is no window in window when it happens. But i don't think that it's related to IMDB because it happens in My pictures, not with movies...

Ehhh, we have a situation like in IMDB, where something like this happening.
Make a screenshot when it happens & we'll see, your log does not show any directx errors like we have in the other situation.

i think that it's a bit difficult to make a screenshot of that, but i'll try to do it. If you take another look to the log file, i think that this line shows a exception:

Off topic: I found that this ONLY happens when doing a IMDB-search for folders

Just an idea, may be that this issue is related to thumbnails database? looking at the log file, it shows a exception an then a bad format thumbnail is created, then there is a error when reading the thumb:

may be that after that, the flickering thing happens, and the same when saving/reading IMDB covers for movies, i'm not sure... it's just an idea.

It could, but the reason for flickering it's that the way we shows thing onscreen gets lost somehow, i know some of the devs knows what happens but haven't found a way around the problem, actually it was fixed but came back

The error above we have other places sometimes & doesn't do anything like that @ all, MP should catch it & just show it in the log.........

We'll see if we can make it happens in a way or another, i have about 20 000 images, but they're in different folders & max 300 in one, will try to make a huge folder & test if it can happen....

for me, when the issue happens, i've also opened some pictures in fullscreen, while mp was creating thumbnails in background for the pictures in the same folder

Have tested that too (no sucess on reproduce it), will try on another system with a nvidia card & see if that changes something.
