[confirm] MP Freeze on first Tune in Multi Seat (1 Viewer)

Today i changed from MP 1.0.2 to the RC1.

And now i got the problem that MP freeze when i start it, and open the TV section (i chose start TV and the Full screen Option in the Configurator), the only thing i can do is kill the task with the task manager, restart the TV Service or the TV Server.
If i restart the TV server then it worked 2 maybe 3 times and then MP freeze again.

Things if done to reproduce

• Disable all 3rt Party Plugis
• Set the Blue two wide Skin
• Clean the log files ( i hope this was right)
• Start MP in debug Mode
• Chose My TV
• Mp Freeze
• Wait some miutes
• Kill the Mediaportal task with the Task Manager

May somone can look at it

Why does your Tv.Log say that you tuned ProSieben, but your steps to reproduce do not?

I can not confirm issues in multiseat here with my setup.

What happens when you go to Tv Server Configuration -> manual control -> select an channel -> press the timeshift button ?

Why does your Tv.Log say that you tuned ProSieben, but your steps to reproduce do not?

Because i don't Tune to ProSieben, i enter TV in Full screen mode so i think thats the last channel i tuned before i quit MP, and MP try to tune again when i reenter the Tv section.

Is the ProSieben channel scrambled on dvb-c?

If it is, can you please try an FTA channel on dvb-c (do you have any?) ?

In your system specs you list an dvb-t tuner, do dvb-t channels work in TvServer Configuration/manual control?

Yes it is

If it is, can you please try an FTA channel on dvb-c (do you have any?) ?

Try to start Time Shift on ARD witch is unscrambled, but with the same error as before

In your system specs you list an dvb-t tuner, do dvb-t channels work in TvServer Configuration/manual control?

Try to start Time Shift on Arte/einsextra on that Card and this time it worked.


PS: Before your last Post in the morning i restart the TV server, and i decide to wait and do not delete the log, may this cut help.

4. press start button a few times
5. RECONNECT main power
6. startup PC

If that does not help, then we need an developer with dvb-c hardware to look into this (like morpheus_xx).
I have floppy and firedtv's with AlphaCrypt and EasyTV CAMs and no issue with playing scrambled and FTA channels - but thats dvb-s and dvb-s2

please check this first:
- enable crc checks for dvb-epg grabber, if it doesn`t help
- disable idle+timeshift epg grabber

your error.log points into dvb epg direction...

Press the start button a view times, for was is it good for, to be sure thats there is now Power left on the Card/Mainboard??

CRC was enabled, i disabled both of the epg Grapping, and wait to see whats happend.

Exactly - on my server it even makes fans spin for a moment...

but i guess it did not help?

Want to give you an feedback, nearly one Day with out an Freeze, the workaround from Morpheus helps.

If you need help to find out was it is, i can make some tests if you want.
