Good morning MP team!
There is a really annoying bug.
When I go to (My)TV, if a channel watched last time not available anymore, MP just freezes: I cannot open "channels" submenu to select another one, nor even switch back to home screen.
Any workaround for this, except to open tv server settings, clean-up and full re-scan every time?
"TV autorun" disabled both in MP TV client settings and MP GUI settings.

Thanks.

    Hi again argd

I hope you are well! :)

This is not a bug, but it is a really annoying behaviour. If you wait long enough, MP should show an error and become responsive again (if not, please post logs). We are intending to fix this in two ways in the next version of TV Server:
    1. Detect when channels are off-air and tell you immediately with a message.
    2. Don't freeze MP when TV Server is having problems tuning.

In the meantime, you can reduce the "freeze" by reducing the PMT and/or SDT/VCT timeouts in TV Server configuration -->here<--. You can sometimes (depending on your provider(s)) set both timeouts as low as 2 or 3 seconds.

I'd actually like you to post logs if possible as your provider may be changing the PMT PID for some of your channels, and there is a better way of fixing that (so you wouldn't have to rescan). I can only be sure if that is the problem if I can see the logs though.

Hello mm1352000, thanks for fast reply, i'm ok, hope you too!
OK, I see, and I will try to wait more and gather logs.

could it affect channels availability? actually, my provider just su..s, so i'm trying to increase timeouts instead :)

I believe, the obvious workaround could be just to force TV client to do not remember a channel opened last time -> nothing to wait at all. Is that possible somehow?
