MP freezes when trying to play a music file (1 Viewer)

Hello,
I recently installed Media portal on my media center computer.
When i try to play any MP3 file from my music folder, the Mediaportal freezes up & i have to close it from the task manager.
Video files run OK & i use an external player (MPC) for that.
I can run the MP3's on any other player such as Winamp, WMP and MPC.
Ive re-created the problem in debug mode & attached the log.
Can you please help?
Also, i don't know if this is a problem or just me being a noob at this, I enabled the Winamp plug-in but i cant see it on any of the menus when i start the program.
Is enabling the Winamp plug in is enough or do i have to do anything extra? A "how to" guide can be very helpful

I actually have the exact same problem! Frist with a 1.0.1 SVN so I thought that was the problem. Reinstalled with 1.0.2 RC2 and the problem is still there! I looked through your logs and I couldn't find a single error. I compaerd my logs to yours and it seems like it's failing at the same step. The only thing we have in common are Asus Xonar Audio cards.

Solution:
Aktivate under Mediaportal Konfiguration / Musik / Asio The Asio Player an the Sound Device Asus Xonar.
Thats work.

Other. Change the Bass Player to FDSHOW Player.
The First Tip is better. It play more Mp3 File Formats.
