Hello,
last week my system was fine, I did not use it for some days, wanted to watch TV yesterday and it no longer worked. When entering MyTV MP asked me for the name of the master TV-server, which was the cumputername till then. I tried to use an IP-Adress (the one from the TV-server configuration) but that did not walk neither.
I can't remember to have changed anything, so this is quite strange ...
Is it possible, that some Microsoft automatic updates cause the issue?
I don't want to install (and configure) everything again, so any hint to solve this would be great.
Bye the way: when starting a channel preview in the TV-configuration, I can watch it, so the TV-server seems to be fine ... in a way.
One thing more: In the past (when the system was running properly) I noticed, that the TV-Server connection gets lost, when I turned off my router. Don't know why, but when watching TV, internet access is not really required, isn't it?
Bye,
thecubist
UPDATE: I just tried this loopback adapter-thing described in different threads, but this does not work neither ;-(
UPDATE II: I just deleted the whole MpTvDb and did a rescan, it did not change anything, MP still does not connect the TV-server ;-(( What's going on here? Do I really have to reinstall all?
