Okay, not much to say really. When i try to start MP after a fresh install, windows says that it has been terminates, and asks me to file a failure report to Microsoft. Nothing else happends. Same with both versions i've tried, and to both "mediaportal.exe" and "configuration.exe"

I've tried to run those both binaries in compitability mode, without success, as well as updated my Windows fully. I've also tried to install .NET updates specficly, because thats what i get errors about in the program logs in windows.

Below is a paste from the program logs in Windows:

    Hi,
This was a fresh installation of both MP versions you tried, no old MediaPortal folder left?

This is a full WinXP installation, no light version?

    You have .net 1.1 installed?

    Regards
    Roy

    Yes

Yes it's a full installation of Win Xp pro, and i have .NET 1.1 and 2.0 installed.

About the folders.. I've deleted the folders between the reinstalls, yes.. I'll try some more to ensure that i ain't missing something...

when you get the Windows error report take a look at what it contains. It should show the program and the cause.
Also take a look in Mediaportal/logs as they may reveal a lot more useful information.

Maybe the verdana regular font is not found on your system. This is what i found to be the problem on my pc.
