MP not working after update 0.2.0.2 to 0.2.0.4 (1 Viewer)

I installed version 0.2.0.2 and everything is working as advertized Due to problems with Czech characters in EPG, i tried installing stable patch to 0.2.0.4, and this happened twice, always with same results. The patch installs, but when I try to start MP, I get the message that some .xml file is missing and when MP starts I get only black screen (fullscreen mode). This black window can be closed via ALT+F4.

Weird thing is, that after that, I delete MP folder, and rename the backup to MediaPortal, when it starts, it works, but not TV card! I have to completely uninstall and again install mediaportal to get it working. Config program reports that it can't buld graph.

I'd really like to have czech letters in EPG, so i checked this forum for similar bugs, but couldn't find any posts, that's why i'm writing. If this is something easy or known, then my apologies for wasting yr time

Hi,
You should install MP 0.2.2.0 final fresh + SVN (thats what this forum part is about) & test if it works as it should, if not then post bugs back here to get it fixed.

Hmm, I miced up versions, i have installed 0.2.2.0 and then downloaded MediaPortal-update-0.2.0.4.exe, that is the only one available, I thought that's the stable patch latest? But if the versions are correct, then I DOWNGRADED it Maybe then there are no stable patches at this time, only SVN?

Yeah then you have downgraded, the only thats available now its SVN no stable patches for 0.2.2.0
