My media portal has now broken!

I watched a film on wednesday, then on thrusday it no longer plays any kind of video.

I use moving pictures for video, and online video plugin with youtube etc. Both give similar results, as the picture illustrates, just a distorted non moving image. The audio works, and the timer carries on as if its playing the video. Video works in Windows Media Player, and youtube works via internet explorer.

It was working perfectly.

Only thing i done, was took Bourne Ultimatum out of the library (4GB Avchd) and replaced it with a 35GB bluray rip of the same. Ran the Moving pictures importer, which took out the 4gb and replaced it with the 35gb one.

Can anyone suggest anything?

Thanks in advance

Just reading some other posts which included logs, and then figured out how to do them.

Here they are.

I have tried the following in the past couple of days.

Upgrading to DirectX10
Upgrading to latest catalyst from ati website, rather than latest on mobo manufacturers website.
Using FFD show rather than CoreAVC.

I think this is somekind of problem with MP rather than an internal driver, as everything plays fine in Win. Media Player.

Any suggestions welcome

The new catalyst drivers are known to cause problems.
Which version is the driver you got together with youre MoBo if it is older then 9.3 you should try 9.3 or 9.4 to see if it solves youre problem.

Not always is the newest driver the better driver.
