I have a problem starting video playback in Media Portal: Selecting a video to play randomly results in Media Portal being minimized to the system tray. I've halfway fixed it by selecting "Always on top" in the general settings, but still, about 1/3 of my video files, upon selection, minimizes MP to the tray. If I manually re-biggify it, and select the same video, it plays without issue. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it, no one file is guaranteed to make it happen, one video file will start up fine while another encoded the exact same way will make MP minimize itself.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? It's driving me batty! I've done all the research I can think of, but I can't find any help anywhere.
Thanks,
Justin
MediaPortal Version: 1.0.0.0 RC2
MediaPortal Skin: Blue Wide
Windows Version: XP Pro SP3
CPU Type: Celeron E1200
HDD: Seagate Barracude 500GB SATA2
Memory: 2.0 GB
Video Card: Radeon HD 2400
Video Card Driver: 8.512.0.0
Sound Card: Realtek Onboard
Uninstalled DivX and have only FFDShow now... seems to have fixed the issue.
Having said that, I'm sure I'll be back soon with the same problem.
Cheers
