Prior to MP RC1 I had 2 simple batch files on my desktop to start MP. 1 would start it on my PC Screen in
Windowed mode, 2 would start it on my HDMI TV screen in fullscreen.

With MP RC1 these batch files no longer run.

An ideas?

Batch files attached

Many thanks

Hi,

played some more and able to get the .bat file to run if it is located in the Mediaportal directory and simply has

Mediaportal.ex. /fullscreen=no /screen=0 /skin="xface"

If I try to do it elsewhere I get problems pointing to the dir eg C:\Program Files\.... throws up an error .
Would you be so kind as to show me how to write a simple .bat file to look to the correct directory and run MP with the commandline option I want.

I want to locate the .bat files on a backup directory so they don't get wiped when I upgrade MP

Many thanks

    Try this:

    cd c:\Program\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal\
    Mediaportal.exe /fullscreen=no /screen=0 /skin="xface"

First line to your MP folder, whatever installpath you have
This should change your working directory to correct folder to virtually move there.

Now you can put your bat files wherever you want and/or create a shortcut to them and it should work.
