This problem appears since RC3 and still exists in RC4:
I am using powerscheduler to wake up pc for a scheduled recording.

    1. Schedule a show
    2. shutdown your PC to hibernate
    3. MP wakes up at the scheduled time, but records the wrong channel

When I stop this recording and would like to watch TV, MP doesn't find the correct channel.
Means on channel 6 is Sat1, but when going to channel 6 TerraNova appears.
    No channel is recognized correctly.

Since RC4 I cannot even watch TV, I just get the error message:
"Timeshift konnte nicht gestartet werden, unable to create graph"

I need to restart MP. After that I can watch all channels corectly and
while MP is running a scheduled recording will be recorded correctly.

    Regards

    Hi Bavarian,

sorry for the delay, but I wasn't at home this weekend.

I attach the zip-file created by the mptesttool.

I figured out that powerscheduler will not hibernate and restart my pc anymore.

Hope you will find a solution.
right now I can't hibernate, can't resume and I when resuming manually the wrong channel will be recorded.

    1. Start MP
    2. I scheduled MP to record Gute Zeiten at 19:40.
    3. set pc to hibernate manually
    4. woke up mp manually
    5. MP seems to record Gute Zeiten on RTL, but when watching the recording N24 was recorded.

Scheduling while MP is running, MP records the correct channel.

    Regards
    Ralph

    Hi,

I record several shows daily for which MP needs to resume from standby. This behaviour never occurred here, so I can't confirm it. Maybe it's somehow related to what FlipGer is experiencing? http://www.testteam-mediaportal.com/Joomla/forum/showthread.php?t=497 Or does the log show a completely different channel being recorded?

    Kind regards,
    Michel

Maybe it has to do something with flipger's problem.
He also mentioned somthing about cable:False.

Channel 27 is RTL; but where can I see the frequencies?
I did a scan and paid attention what channel will be found at 519 MHz.
The result was at 519 Mhz is channel N24.

But what can I do now? Can I change anything?
Why is MP taking the wrong frequency?

I would really really like being able to schedule a recording again.
Maybe this info will help to fix this...

    please try the following:

    1. disable the PowerScheduler Plugin
    2. start mediaportal
    3. enter MyTV
    4. tune N24
    5. schedule a recording on RTL
    6. leave to homescreen
    7. stop MyTV in the preview window
    8. leave MediaPortal on the homescreen and wait for the recording
i am curious if MediaPortal is able to record the correct show.

question: how have you installed 0.2 RC4? have you used any old files? have you installed it into an empty folder, or deinstalled RC3 and installed RC4 into the old MediaPortal folder?

Made your test, step by step and it works.
    MP recorded the correct channel.

It just doesn't work when needs to resume to record the scheduled recording.

I deinstalled RC3 and deleted the whole MediaPortal folder.
Installed RC4. Copied the folder before installing the latest SVN.
Even tried with my backup of the original RC4 without any SVN.
    It's all the same.
    It doesn't work.

I don't now what to do, to get it work again???

thats exactly what i wanted to know :)

so a scheduled recording works if you do not hibernate your system. thats a very important information!

Well we need to find out what is causing this issue.

To hunt down the reason we need a 2nd test:
    1. disable the PowerScheduler Plugin -> save
    2. use the TestTool to clear all logs (Step1)
    3. start mediaportal
    4. enter MyTV
    5. tune N24
    6. schedule a recording on RTL
    7. leave to homescreen
    8. stop MyTV in the preview window
    9. hibernate the PC via MediaPortal Shutdown menu
    10. manually resume the PC
    11. leave MediaPortal on the homescreen and wait for the recording
If it records the wrong channel, please use the TestTool to export the logs and attach them to your reply

if the correct channel has been recorded please do one last test:
    1. enable the PowerScheduler Plugin
    2. enable extensive logging -> save
    3. use the TestTool to clear all logs (Step1)
    4. start mediaportal
    5. enter MyTV
    6. tune N24
    7. schedule a recording on RTL
    8. leave to homescreen
    9. stop MyTV in the preview window
    10. hibernate the PC via MediaPortal Shutdown menu
    11. manually resume the PC
    12. leave MediaPortal on the homescreen and wait for the recording
If it records the wrong channel, please use the TestTool to export the logs and attach them to your reply

    Thank you for testing :D
