    Hi!

I've a lot of movies with 3 audio streams. Two Stereo and one AC3 5.1. But in Moving Pictures it only shows MP2A Logo? Is this correct? Also when i play the movie it always plays in stereo and i've to switch manually. Is this correct?

    Thanks!

I'm guessing you're using a self-compiled beta? Or do you mean the codecs listed when showing the VideoOSD? Perhaps MediaInfo only reports the first stream's codec to the plugin and only that is shown? If you download VirtualDubMod and have a look at the streams, perhaps you'll find your answer there (i.e. the first stream is MP2A)?

yes i'm using MovingPictures 0.8 - but also with 0.7.5 the same happens - and yes, the first stream is an MP2A. But shouldn't MovingPictures list the "best" audio stream? Or let's say prefer AC3 instead of the rest?

Moving Pictures, as it uses the mediainfo module included in Mediaportal, only loads the first audio stream of the file, so if you have one file with more than one audio stream, only the first ones properties will be added to the database.

I've created a new issue to include more audio streams for future releases, so you can star it if you want:

Issue 596 - moving-pictures - Load 'Language' data from Audio Streams via MediaInfo - Project Hosting on Google Code
