Hi!

While watching a channel MP just stops responding and freezes for a couple of seconds and then shutsdown. There´s nothing in the logs and my girlfriend begins to have doubts about me and the MP system overall. Soon she might want me to buy a box insteed

Any idé what might cause this?

not sure if you resolved this yet, but I find the exact sae symptoms when I have been working on MP and the recording folder location auto changes to the MP TVserver directory which is not very large, as opposed to the recording directory.

After however long it takes to fill the MP (and Windows) directory then the system becomes unresponsive, but if I am watching a movie, recorded TV etc, the picture continues to play but cannot be controlled.

Maybe you forgot to activate and configure the powerscheduler client plugin?
