I realized recently that my MP is taking a lot longer to launch and is taking the same amount of time to resume from standby (upwards of 30 seconds). A peek at the logs leads me to believe that the loading of fonts is somehow to blame. This is what my log looks like starting from when I push the button to resume from standby until the time my mediaportal screen actually shows up.
You'll notice that the largest gaps of time are during the loading of fonts. Windows itself resumes almost immediately and I am able to do things in other windows while MP continues to load.
Any ideas? I have a feeling this should be an easy fix... Meanwhile I'll try different skins and report back if I come up with a solution.
