Hi, folks. I'm hoping you can help here as my troubleshooting skills are being quite taxed with this.
I did a clean install of Vista a few days ago with MediaPortal 1.0 on it. I've tried playing DivX, Xvid, every file type I can dig up in my video library. Tried it in my usual TV Series but also in general Videos... same.
Nothing will play for more than a few seconds and then it behaves as though the Stop function's been activated.
I've turned off the MS remote, the keyboard HID
I've tried playing the same videos in other players. WMP, Elisa, XBMC... all play but I prefer MediaPortal.
Like I said, it just acts like "Stop" has been pressed... no errors.
I'm open to suggestions.

Messed around in settings that I've never needed to mess with (and hadn't). Somehow, the video rendering settings had done something strange. I set them to what seems to be defaults and (fingers crossed), it's running.
