Synopsis::

This problem has been constant since the first version of MP i tried (RC2). When watching TV shows (type of file doesn't seem to matter) through My Videos (not recorded shows. This only happens with My Videos) the video suddenly stops. It acts like I am at the end of the file. When I try to restart the video it plays for half a second then stops again suddenly. I am forced to restart MP in order to be able to watch any videos again. It happens at random times but usually on the 2nd or 3rd show of a series I am watching. I can usually watch 3 episodes of family guy before the problem pops up. Every new version I have been hoping to see this fixed. Since I has yet to be address it seems that the problem is only with my installation. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to solve this?

I just put that card in as a toubleshooting step. I have a radeon 9800 in there previous to this with the same problem. I do not believe the video card is a problem. Any other ideas?

    Which one,
    AMD Athlon XP 2800+
    Athlon 1400Mhz

    What's the CPU running at, anything close to 100% may be your problem.
    Do you have something like Diskeeper running in the background as a service.

    Also, did you try with the latest ATI drivers??

    This could be related to your Video card... so try uninstalling the Omega's and put the stock ATI drivers and report back

    I am currently running a 2800+. The information in my signature is old. I should probobly update it. The CPU is not running anywhere close to 100%
