MP TV Client and Windows Media Player (1 Viewer)

Hi,

is it possible to use MP TV Client with Windows Media Player 12 instead of VLC Player?
I think WMP 12 should be possible to play rtsp streams but it does not work.

hi

it works with rtsp source and tsreader filters

RTSPSource.zip - Windows Live

you can use this zip for testing

the rtspsource.ax must be registried in your system

cmd with admin rigths "regsvr32 rtspsource.ax"
than click on the reg file

after all this you can watch tve rtsp streams in wmp

if you trouble with this

Hm, it does not work for me. WMP shows the same error.

And GraphEdit and GraphStudio are not working with WMP (is WMP using MediaFoundation instead of DirectShow on Win7?)

No, as i mentioned before GraphEdit and GraphStudio are not showing any Graph for WMP at Win7. (For MediaPortal they are working).

Have you tried it with Win7?

yes it works for me and some others fine

if graphstudio not show anything you should registy the proppage.dll see in my troubleshootimg help

and you should the filtergraphspy dll regitried this is need for graphs that ROT use

But they are working with third-pary-players like MP!

wenn du magst schaue ich gerne mal auf deinem system nach wo es da hängt
denn es ist wirklich nicht schwer
ok im video hatte eine sache vergessen und zwar wmp zu erlauben durch die firewall zukomunizieren zu dürfen

Filter registrieren
Regfile ausführen
Firewall Rule setzen fertig

fürs troubleshooting halt noch die
filtergraphspy.dll registrieren
proppage.dll registrieren

WMP aufrufen diesem mit strg+u die url geben
Graphstudio zustarten
Connect to remote graph zuwählen

und schauen was sache ist
aber wie oben Erwähnt helfe ich dir da gerne per Teamviewer mehr als Anbieten kann ich es Dir nicht

ich bin nun exakt nach deiner Anleitung vorgegangen (Link von oben funktioniert nicht):

Folgendes: es klappt wenn ich den Stream direkt im WMP starte. Allerdings dauert es ca 30 Sekunden bis der Stream startet. Wenn ich die Firewall am Server deaktiviere dann startet der Stream nach 2 Sekunden. Der TVServer ist aber in der Firewall richtig konfiguriert. Sehr seltsam...

Im MpTvClient funktioniert es nicht, WMP sagt das die Datei nicht wiedergegeben werden kann. Ich kann nach der Fehlermeldung (Stream läuft ja) den Stream im WMP öffnen.

Ich verwende allerdings MP 1.1 BETA (dlls des client nicht ausgetauscht) und habe dessen TSReader.ax und auch die Version von dir ausprobiert, beide male das selbe Ergebnis.

schau mal ob der windows media player am client in der firewall erlaubt ist
wichtig ist auch das die reg file aus dem ts reader ordner ausgeführt wird denn damit wird das protokol rtsp ja erst mit der tsreader .ax für wmp und co als sourcefilter bekannt gegeben

ok ich nutze noch die 1.0.2 da mir stable builds am liebsten sind
aber wie man im video 2 sieht gehts hier wunderbar mit wmp direct oder über mptv client

wenn du magst schaue ich dennoch gerne mal rüber per teamviewer

so habe jetzt mal geupdatet auf 1.1

1 am server section streaming server auf rufen

dort die ip festlegen
und port 554

dann sind im mptvclient die portchecks schonmal alle ok

zum ts reader schaue ich jetzt gibt also gleich ein weiters update

Update ok Team MP hat laut den diff uns den zugang entzogen so das die reg file nicht mehr greift
ok ok sie sind dort noch drann vielleicht ändert sich das auch wieder zum rc1 oder final

also gilt mein screencast nur für 1.0.2 stable
