    Hi all,

Is there any chance in having a setting so as when MP starts it actually has TV Client start in fullscreen automatically instead of half screen or navigating through the menus.

This is the main purpose of my setup and it seems a bit of a pain to have to click on the mid sized screen to go fullscreen every time I start for the day. I suppose it is a few less clicks per day.......:D

    Try the following.

General -> show last active module...(one of the last checkboxes)
Television -> auto turn on TV when entering myTV.

Im not sure it does what u want 100%.

Yeah, Tried all that. That feature brings me to the main TV screen where you can select the tvguide, recordings, etc. Just looking to go that extra step as the main thing MP does is TV so droping straight into fullscreen would be ideal.

there was an autostart plugin a while ago, where you could define the channel that tv would start in fullscreen mode on.
I never used it so I'm not sure if it still works on new versions. Check the download section and try for yourself.
Hopefully someone else can verify if it works now too.

Well, if you close down or standby/hibernate MP in a state where tve3 fullscreen TV is shown, then resuming from hiber/standby or restarting MP should take you to fullscreen TV again and not to the tvhome screen.

Does this not work for u ?

The autostart plugin does not currently work the last time I tried it.

I shutdown windows each night. I have not tried standby/hibernate. I will try that but have had probelms with mem growth in the past with HD TV stuff so jsut a bit reluctant. Will give it a go and let all know in the next couple of days. Off to Melbourne tomorrow so Wife wants no testing till I get back....not sure why though;)

    Hi!

Seems like that feature was broken.
    Now it should work again.
    Even with tsreader.

    Check the changelog.
So plz get new version before testing.

All fixed with latest SVN's. I can now shutdown from fullscreen and when I restart the box the next day, it automatically comes back to fullscreen. Just a note for others that this only will happen if "start tv automatically" is checked in the Television section of config. Thanks for this.

Thx for the information. Wondered why i cant hibernate from tv fullscreen, even had to stop tv at all.
I am "new" to the tv part of mp, so i thought its supposed to be like that.
